Countryside Garden Wedding

I know we aren’t far away from sunny days and garden parties again (fingers crossed) but I was sat here reminiscing of the wedding of James and Claire and I wanted to share a few of my favourite things from their big day. The sun was shining, the drinks were flowing, and everyone had an amazing day.

Confetti throw at country garden wedding

There is no better place to start this post than with Claire and James’s beautiful fur baby Louie, needless to say he got a lot of attention, I mean look at him. He was groomed and pampered the morning of the wedding so that he was looking smart for his important role at the church of ring bearer. What a lovely idea and it added such a personal touch to the day for Claire and James.

Picture it, located in the Buckinghamshire countryside of Claire’s family home surrounded by woodland and open space. As guests arrived at the reception John J Williamson was playing the beautiful sound of uplifting jazz tones, which was the perfect entrance, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Guests were able to enjoy the garden games that had been set up including giant Jenga and croquet, providing hours of fun and laughter before dinner.

In the evening the guests were entertained by the incredible Chart attack, playing back-to-back tunes, immediately getting the guests and even the bar staff out on the dance floor. But how did the guests have the energy to dance to all of those bangers I hear you ask, well it was all thanks to the delicious food served by Lavender Dining Ltd. Once the incredible 3-course meal had been enjoyed, speeches had been given (I even got a thank you, the first ever in a wedding speech, it meant such a lot!) and the band were taking a well-deserved break, the cheese board came out. Let me tell you, I have never seen anything like it, it was a dream for any cheese lovers out there. (It is 100% on my wedding checklist now, who is with me?)

Throughout the day the pictures were taken by the extremely talented and professional Eneka Stewart, blending into the background so not to be invasive on the day. She even got a cheeky photo of me setting up - smiling as always, and with the gorgeous Bride and Groom, defiantly one to add to my memory book.

The day was perfect in every way for James and Claire and filled with fun and love.

Love Becca
